physical obstacles

Over the years, Greg has endured a variety of injuries and seven operations -- including four operations on his feet as well as surgery on his spine. In addition to his efforts to support people fighting cancer, his efforts to support people who deal with physical obstacles have included: volunteering extensively with seniors, collaborating with the Minnesota Twins' AAA team to arrange a 'Day at the Ballpark' (photo) for kids who are blind &/or visually impaired; writing related articles for papers & magazines (e.g. a column about the strength of people who use wheelchairs); raising money for The 11-10-02 Foundation to provide school supplies for students who are blind &/or deaf; and raising money for the Foundation to fund college scholarships for selected students who have not let significant physical obstacles keep them from their educational goals.
