Military / First Responders / Officers

The son & nephew of Veterans, Greg has supported those who serve our nation in a number of ways. He has volunteered his time to visit with seniors -- including older Veterans. His foundation funded a series of scholarships for students who are studying for EMS, Paramedic or First Responder careers. For his civic efforts, he has received honors such as the Jefferson Award for Public Service. He also received an honor with a fun 'military' connection: Hasbro honored him as one of 35 people who reflect the ‘spirit of G.I. Joe’ & ‘demonstrate heroism in their every day lives’. SCROLL DOWN

Greg has written for magazines (e.g. an article on a member of The United States Army Band, "Pershing's Own"). He also has spoken at many events. In Canada, for instance, he served as guest speaker at a Remembrance Day event. In America, he spoke (on mentoring) at a conference for juvenile officers. He also has spoken at events for students at military academies. The books, workbooks & posters based on Greg's story have been used by organizations with military connections (e.g. youth centers have gotten the books for military members' children, a chapter of USO ordered copies for people being honored for service to military families, a foundation started in honor of a Veteran got copies of the books & Legacy Posters for dozens of its supporters).
