Grandma

Greg and his Grandma were best friends. As more people took notice of his civic efforts, they also noticed her influence on him. In the last decade of her life, Grandma found herself gracing covers of magazines like Senior News and NonProfit Times. Greg's books highlight his Grandma's role as a mentor. One of the books (The Silhouette Man) was honored in Canada as a book that celebrates the wisdom of seniors. The books have been used extensively with older adults, staff who serve seniors, adults and youth who volunteer with seniors, and as part of intergenerational programs. Greg has spoken at many events for older adults and/or those who serve older adults. He has served as 'Grandkid-in-Residence' for several retirement communities.
