camp & summer programs
As a kid, Greg attended (& loved) summer camp. As a teen, he worked for a summer as a counselor. As an adult, his involvement with camps & summer programs has taken different forms. He has interviewed camp owners for magazines (e.g. Wisconsin Natural Resources). At some camps, he has done Readings of The Milkshake Man (frequently followed by a Q&A and art activity). He has spoken at staff trainings for counselors & CIT's and events for summer academic programs SCROLL DOWN
The books & workbooks based on Greg's story have been
used by summer programs, camps & organizations with their campers, CIT's &/or staff. Outdoor-related businesses & camps have also ordered the books, workbooks &/or posters for local students as part of their community outreach efforts. During the pandemic, Greg has teamed up with camps on activities involving the books.
