As a child, Greg spent many weekends at the movie theater where his godfather worked (which led to a lifelong love of movies). Loews Cineplex Entertainment hosted an event on his 30th birthday -- featuring a sneak preview of an all-in-fun 'draft' of his first film. Two of his books (The Silhouette Man and The First Thirty) include a positive focus on films & the movie theater. On a number of occasions (e.g. at a university), he has accepted invites to turn the book into a one man play for an evening. The Washington Post ran a story comparing the educational experiences, post-college paths, and legacies of Greg and Steven Spielberg.
