In the film starring Tom Cruise, sports agent Jerry Maguire writes a spontaneous memo that captures the essence of what he hopes & believes.  Over the years, Greg has had a couple 'Jerry Maguire' moments.  Shortly after moving into his first apartment, he sat down on his balcony, looked out at the neighborhood where he'd soon begin working as an educator & wrote a poem titled Legacy - describing what he hoped could be the eventual legacy of his efforts in that community. Twelve years later, that poem became the basis of the Legacy Poster.  About a year after he started The Brunch Bunch mentoring program, he sat down late one night in a restaurant booth and, on the back of a menu, scribbled down what would eventually become the Brunch Bunch Mission Statement.  When he was 35, following his stint as Scholar-in-Residence for a program in Africa, he wrote a journal about the path that led him to another continent & how we treat the people we meet while we travel.  That journal became a guest column in a business magazine in Canada. Click here to read that column
