Greg has spoken at many community colleges, colleges, universities and graduate schools -- including general on-campus events, guest lectures for courses, annual events (including Commencements) & specific programs (e.g. events for a university's leadership program, for its Greek Life members, or for its student-athletes). In other instances, he has spoken with students pursuing specific careers -- such as a conference for college students studying to be teachers. The book based on Greg's story, The Silhouette Man, includes an in-depth focus on his college experience. The book, its condensed version (The First Thirty) & the companion workbook (A Place To Sit) have been used by first-year programs, extracurricular clubs, academic courses, & athletic teams at a wide variety of community colleges, colleges and universities. Greg has received meaningful honors at universities &/or related to college students. At an event at Princeton University, he was honored as 'one of America's top social entrepreneurs under 40'. The college fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau, named him its annual Man of Distinction. He also has received some honorary degrees after serving as Commencement Speaker at a college or community college. He has been featured by media like College News, Newsweek Kaplan College Guide and The Washington Post. He has written for university-related media as well -- including online publications (e.g. Harvard Business School) and in print (e.g. University of California-Santa Barbara).
