Janus School
The Silhouette Man is based on the true story of a curious kid's efforts to make a difference and the grandparent who mentors him. The book is geared toward adults. The condensed version for students (5th grade thru college reading level) - The First Thirty - was NSDLC Multicultural Relations Book of the Year. The Milkshake Man is the new illustrated version for K-4th grade reading level. The companion workbooks are A Place To Sit and One Lunch.
The story has some special connections to Janus School. The author (Greg) served as 2013 Graduation Speaker at Janus School, and the reviews on Page 1 in A Place To Sit include one from Janet Gillespie, Head of School, Janus School.
