sample of feedback on the book & events - college & university groups

Amy P, First Year program at Asnuntuck Community College: “A virtual case study for First Year Experience programs....a blueprint for new college students.”
Leah J, University of Missouri - SL: "It's essential that students make the connection between what they are doing now and what they want to achieve after they leave here. The First Thirty could not only help our students see that connection but also give them practical tools that they can start using right away."
COLLEGE NEWS: "A remarkable story of strength filled with lessons that will take every student through the college years and beyond."
Ben Wright, Assistant Director of Student Activities for Leadership & Service, Lewis J. Burger Center for Leadership & Service, Bradley University: "I truly can't thank Greg enough for the message he shared with the Bradley community on Wednesday. His message and stories are truly inspirational. The students.... were captivated... I had three students come up to me yesterday and tell me that his presentation was one of the most inspiring and "real" experiences they have had since attending Bradley. He is doing fantastic work.. I am looking forward to when our paths cross once again."
In other cases, departments or programs at schools (ie Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) have ordered copies for nearby high school students. In other cases, organizations have ordered books for college-bound students. For example, a group in New York gave the books (& companion workbooks) to each student in the 'Life After High School' program. In Colorado, Latino College Fair organizers ordered the books for 200 future college students, their parents & teachers. A high school in Connnecticut got copies for all of its college-bound seniors as graduation gifts.
