In 2008, Greg served as American Scholar-in-Residence for a civic engagement program in South Africa. The trip inspired him to try new things and take on more physical challenges & educational experiences.  His 'Leaps' have included: skydiving, entering a crocodile pit, whitewater rafting (that is Greg in the front seat), attending law school as a guest student, zip-lining, snorkeling, a sprint triathlon on two weeks notice, an (all-in-fun) 'tryout' with pro baseball, swimming with dolphins, and one round of sparring with a former UFC fighter.  To see pictures, and to give thought to the Leaps you can take, please visit www.TakingLeaps.com
